Local plaque casting

IEEE Organizational Units may wish to have their milestone plaques cast at a local foundry to save time or shipping costs. This is permitted as long as the IEEE Milestone plaque format and dimensions are strictly adhered to in order to protect the consistency, recognizability, and integrity of the IEEE Milestones Program.

Plaque dimensions are: 45cm wide x 30cm high x 1.4288cm thick [18" x 12" x 11/16ths"]
Plaque type is: Bronze, bevel border, oxide light color, leather texture, 4 studs on back for mounting,
Font: font size is, 3/4" header, ½” title and 13/32” text cap; font is Times New Roman or as similar as possible
Style is: Header: IEEE MILESTONE (all uppercase, centered), Title (centered), text (right and left justified), Month and year of dedication at bottom of citation (centered), IEEE emblem at bottom right
