Dear Advocate,

Thank you very much for helpful comments. We have changed the title and the text according to your comments.

Title:

Germany's first broadcast from the Königs Wusterhausen radio station. 22 December 1920

Text:

In early in this building 1920 experiments of broadcasting voice and music using an arc-transmitter started to be performed by technicians of the Königs Wusterhausen radio station together with employees from the Telegraphentechnisches Reichsamt. In December 1920 tests reached such a level that an instrumental concert - the so-called Christmas concert - could be transmitted. This transmission is regarded as the birth of broadcasting in Germany, three years before its official start."

Please take into account the following remarks: "Königs Wusterhausen" is the name of the location. We like to character "ö" instead of "oe". The historical transmission was on 22 December 1920. Therefor we like to stay with this date instead of the general date 1920. The word "commercial" was deleted, because the German State owned more than 51% of the broadcast station. We changed the wording "longwave aerial" to "arc-transmitter" to reflect the state of the art at this time.
