Hi Lise,

I think that the BAE reference should stay because the plaque will be in the BAE lobby, so it explains to people the continuity of the company. I've seen multiple conflicting dates, so I'll have Rob email the proposer & see if he wants 1966 or 1967. Otherwise, I agree with your edits:


The "Brown Box" console, developed at Sanders Associates - now BAE Systems - between 1967 and 1968, was the first interactive video game system to use an ordinary home television set. This groundbreaking device and the production-engineered version Magnavox Odyssey game system (1972) spawned the commercialization of interactive video games, which has become a multi-billion dollar industry.
